Thommo90
Wouldn't get too excited over Shug Murray, totally finished at the level he's been at, doesn't have the legs and can't tackle anymore. Hope he does well though. Mcdougall has class but is quite a lazy player, close control is excellent, should be a standout in league 2 if he decides he wants to play! shawfield shed boy
Would expect to Shug Murray to be like Kev Nicoll type for us & im sure he.ll stroll this league keeping it sinple and putting boot in, Quite a difference between 2nd and 1st div & even bigger gulf to championship so fingers crossed he's still got a bit left to offer... If all fit & ready a midfield o Odonnell. Murray and B Ferguson on paper should be enough for this league not that all 3would ever play in same team but would be good to watch, If all fit and able... The_BullyWee
Frank McGarvey was well into his 30's when he played for Clyde and he was easily one of the best strikers I have ever seen play for the club.
cfcuk
Don't think we should expect the same marko that was here first time around at thirty nine he ain't going to marauding up park but I think with his experience and quality he would be a great addition especially defending set plays and passing on advice to younger player's And would certainly fire up the fans Marko Marko Marko Marko
BrigtonClyde
Murray turns 36 in a few days but if he's got anything left in his legs for half a season he's the kind of player in midfield they were needing. If they get at least one similar at centre half then they're addressing the right areas
GYSPY ARMY
SSB at 39 do you think he will be any use, he is prone to injury as it is.

StevieB
I have no problem signing older players, certainly not at this level (or any level come to think of it - look at ths likes of Lampard in the English Premiership, or even say Andy Smith and Millen for us a few years back). Time will tell how they turn out, but we need experienced players like Hugh Murray. Somebody like him might even help us get more out of O'Donnell. As for Marko,it would be great to see him at Clyde again and i'm sure he could still do a job for us.

Perhaps give him a chanceHe may turn out to be OD (Who will always be held in highest regard) tho He may turn out to be a McGarvey.Spittal or Millen... Clyde soccer trendy
I remember commenting how McGarvey was passed it when we were about to sign him. How wrong was I. The man was a genius. One of my best seasons of being a Clyde fan.

Thommo90
Big mark mclaughlin will be excellent for you if he goes, he's not had a bad game for us. The cup tie against rangers he was close to being motm, slotted in easy despite not playing for weeks. Very slow but partner him with someone relatively quick and he will be a great signing. shawfield shed boy
Thought so Thommo Difference between say Marko & OD .. One doesnt really need to run much while other does, Spittal and lets say Davie Weir proved Centre halfs can play longer,All about position n da base
GYSPY ARMY
I hope both prove me wrong, seen many duds in their late 30s for Clyde over the years. You could write a book about them. I would title it Nightmares
Karpaty
We had Andy Smith come in well into his 30's and he scored a good few goals for us. Would be delighted to sign Marko just to see the guy back.
