Ira Gaines
Blondie hardly setting the heather alight here. Got a few things I'm wanting to watch. Will have the laptop out for Metallica on at the same time as the football. Listen to Metallica, watch the football. Seems like a plan. Arcade Fire tonight should be wonderful. Ira Gaines
So Jungle have been on the John Peel Stage. They're not great. Their songs do have some fun moments, but not enough to make me think anything other than "neeeext"
Ira Gaines
Another bunch of stuff out the way. John Newman was really good on Other Stage. I do like his album, but it actually sounded better done live here, and a good cover of "Not Giving In" was a good way to cap things off. Caught some band that were a total state on BBC Introducing after that doing the same sort of music I've heard a million times before. Decided to catch a big chunk of Temples as well. Really good set from them and definitely one to keep an eye on in September at Festival No. 6.

Ira Gaines
20.45 on the Other Stage. Think BBC Three might be showing him at 21.00.
FlyerTon
Paolo Nutini on BBC 3 HD tonight @ 21:00 (Sky 115) http://www.bbc.co.uk/bbcthree/programmes/schedules
Ira Gaines
Glastonbury is on hold for now as lightning has arrived. Outdoor stages halted completely. BBC feed for John Peel also down.
Ira Gaines
Right. Stage times have been shot to shit by that storm. Lily Allen finishing just now.

FlyerTon
They're about 15 mins behind schedule. Elbow up next on Pyramid stage about 20:10.
Ira Gaines
Meant to say actually. Rudimental were pretty good before folk started running on stage screaming at them to get off. Caught a bit of HAIM before them, and deary me, that bass player throws some ridiculous shapes with her mouth.
Mr. Brightside
Chvrches up next on the John Peel stage (I think)
Ira Gaines
Indeed they are. Been looking forward to this. Won't get the perfect link in with Paolo Nutini I was hoping for though.
ForzaDundee
Question - Who in their right mind puts Elbow so high on festival line-ups. Fair enough they sell a fair number of album but are they really a draw for anyone. Whole crowd seems to be waiting for Arcade Fire.
Mr. Brightside
Chvrches really are brilliant, Mayberry's voice really stands up and they seem to really appreciate the crowds. Great band. Oh and Jolene, lol.
