Inverness Caledonian Thistle vs Dundee FC - 13/08/14

Recommended Posts

Why did Dundee sack Jocky Scott when they were top of the league anyway? I genuinely can't remember. Will the same happen to Hartley if they don't finish in the top 6?

There was no way that Jocky was taking us up. Everything was falling apart and we didn't look like winning another match that season.

This fixture always reminds me of your tinky club shop in an old container in front of your main stand, your half finished stadium and sitting about 30 yards from the goals. Also the shite atmosphere and the uneasy stand off in the off licence under the stand before kick off.

this fixture always reminds me Dundee have finished below us every year for last 10 seasons.

The first competitive game I'll miss since...um...I think it must be the 2-1 at Killie just before the split 2 seasons ago. Damn this needing to work in order to live malarky.

Anyway, a tough second game. I'd take a point.

If Dundee fans think we are all about Billy McKay, they are in for a shock.

I would pick the same 11 that started the Hamilton game (that were on the pitch when we scored the 2 goals), with the same 3 subs being used depending on circumstances. Both Vincent and Williams did a shift and I see no reason to drop either. But isn't it great we can have 3 players on the bench that can impact and turn games not mentioning the other unused players, we have more strength in depth now than we have ever had. :thumsup2

Really don't see Dundee winning this and think we will have to play really well for a draw. also, midweek game away in Inverness. Bound to be a poor crowd

Sensible post, given the remarks made about attendances from some of your fellow fans. I was about to post Dundee better fill that South Stand.

First home game of the season with nothing else on in the area very few distractions, with the exception of a few fans still off on their hols, it should be a close to our average attendance for the home fans, shouldn't be an excuse not to go.

But even though you are being sensible in your post, do Dundee fans have a thing about attendances?

For some reason I think Dundee fans do have a thing for attendances. I think most are quite proud that we still turn out in good numbers despite all the problems and all the hell we have been put through in the last 10 years.

We will hump those fermers.

If you are incapable of humping Killie at home, I don't say much for your chances.

If its any consolation I can find some sheep dating sites or sheep porn for you?
