LiviLion
2-2, Is the game live on Alba? Unless they make a late decision to show it, no. Our game at the end of September is on Alba though. Going down to get my ticket tomorrow, hopefully the club haven't made a f**k up like they did with season tickets. Not expecting to get through but hopefully we can go out and play well from the start, not waiting until the second half like we did against Hibs and Cowden. Afro
Can't see us going through but a good performance, good crowd and a decent atmosphere would do me. 2-1 Hearts.
paranoid android
Some changes to our line up for this one. With Alexander and Gallacher injured, and Jack Hamilton cup-tied, Lee Hollis will start in goal. Striker Dale Carrick missed today's derby due to injury, so might be struggling - not sure which games Osman Sow will miss after his red card today. I think midfielder Scott Robinson might be available after completing his suspension. So, somethig like: Hollis McGhee - Ozturk - Wilson - McHattie King - Gomis - Buaben - Nicholson Oliver - Keatings subs: (from) McKay, L Smith, Holt, Robinson, D Smith, Walker toiling for a sub keeper, as our youth team goalie is inured anaw! EdinburghLivi
Boring game and a 1-0 win for the Amber Machine would suit me as I can't go.
LIVIFOREVER
I'll go for 2-2 and it going to extra time.
Tony Wonder
Hollis starting means we'll have given debuts to 4 keepers in 3 games, must be a first. I think we'll make a few changes and give a run out to guys like Robinson, Walker and Keatings. Not overly fussed about the result tbh as this cup isn't exactly high on our list of priorities but would be good to get a win and keep the momentum going. I would go all second string and so what if they get beat. We can't afford to lose more of the first team to injury or suspension.

This, or at the very least, I'd like some of our fringe players to get as much game time as possible in order to keep the sharpness of the players shared out around the squad. An alternative viewpoint could be this will be your one chance ever to win this. Hearts must be odds on for the one guaranteed promotion spot so won't be in this next season. Duffy_
Quite looking forward to this, good to see that we're taking a big travelling support as well. I imagine we'll give a few fringe players like Keatings and Oliver and chance. Hopefully don't make too many changes though, although it's not a big tournament it's always good to make winning a habit.
andylivi1
Looking forward to this but not expecting anything from the game, if we put up a fight and not get humped then I'll be happy.
Jambo Stu
I agree this should be an overhauled team from the last two. Robinson is still banned from the league but not the cups so i expect him to feature. I would be quite happy if Beith, McKay, The Smiths, Keatings and Oliver all started. Still want to win. #historicquadruple

paranoid android
Bryn Halliwell signs as emergency back up, right enough http://www.heartsfc.co.uk/articles/20140820/bryn-comes-in_2241384_4086295 Stevie Crawford says we'll be 'utilising the full squad' - looks like some players will be rested tonight - more an indication that the league is the priority than disrespect to the competition or Livi. Obviously, we'll still be trying to win the tie, but it looks like it could be #revengeformcglynn
