HibeeJibee
It's now suggested on their thread that Linlithgow have changed their minds and decided not to run an U20s team next season.

FairWeatherFan
Somebody asked the EoS Twitter feed how many new clubs there might be following Civil's announcement. They weren't sure, but any interesting tidbit was that Alloa & East Fife had made enquiries.

HibeeJibee
More likely to be among the "semi pro" reserve league? As noted earlier it already fell back to 1 nationwide division of 9 and that includes EK, Albion and Berwick as well as Livi, Ayr and Raith.

Last of the old guard from the SYFA U21 days. Heard their issue at Meadowbank 3G was that it shut at 6pm on Friday? It's great to see such a big youth club come in and join this growing set-up.
gaz1959
They have not won Conference B yet. Both teams have 3 games left to play, although Spartans have a 4 point advantage.
HibeeJibee
Inverkeithing beat Edinburgh City 5-4 last night having lost 10-1 in the return earlier in the season. Reminder this league isn't just about the trophies but also development and improvement.

It has been great to a number of the new sides really find their feet in the second half of the season.

Are Alloa and East Fife getting entry from invite? Any info on how that works. I wonder if more 20s that got scrapped will appear in Lowland.
HibeeJibee
There are a lot of "what ifs" on that list... If you assume most or all 23 existing clubs stay on, there looks to be enough confirmed interest for 30 or so teams. More than 32 would require a new format. Personally I'd hope LL/EOSL/SOSL clubs would receive first dibs over invitees.
gaz1959
Closing date is 15th June, so new applicants will be looked at then and a decision will be made confirming entry or otherwise. Allow and East Fife are allowed to apply as Edinburgh City currently take part.
RampantFM
Congratulations to Kelty Hearts on winning Conference A tonight with brilliant 5-0 victory over Nitten Star and also to Spartans who clinched Conference B. League decider will be some game.
ewan_fife
2-2 at half time here between Kelty and Edinburgh United. Kelty playing some nice stuff but Edinburgh not making it easy for them, no 11 from kelty (liam Kelly) looks a player
