QPSAFalkirkFirm
Thought I'd get in a bit early with this one and maybe take some of the heat away from our good friends at Clyde (tee, hee, hee!) For those Rangers fans who haven't been following the QP's fortunes since last we met, here's a synopsis. Summer of 2013 - twelve regular-starting players leave. Autumn 2013 - decanted to Airdrie whilst The Big Hoose gets decorated. Xmas 2013 - Gardner Speirs bumped. January 2014 - Gus McPherson joins. 2013-4 - worst ever season in our 400 year history. But a new dawn has arrived. Whilst results under McPherson were almost as bad as Speirs' in the second half of the season the time was spent looking for a new squad and this summer saw another clear out, this time instigated by the coach. Thus far, and it's very early days, progress is looking good. The new team is largely made up of lower league signings but despite many PnB posters declaring Gus' negative, defensive style there are good signs already of an attacking team with a tighter defence and some good individuals. It's all about league position for The QP this year so Tuesday's game is yardstick for us. Hopefully, the team that is starting at the moment will be allowed to continue and test themselves against higher opposition. There's a great incentive for Rangers players too with a second round tie for the winners at home to ICT and a chance to prove themselves worthy for the higher level to coach and fans alike. I'd like to think we'll provide a more testing match-up than this week's encounter. Enjoy the game!
QPSAFalkirkFirm
Hot tubs, Hookers and Annie I predict a 90 min + 2 injury time strike from Fraser Aird will separate the 2 teams followed by a wee sing song. I'd actually settle for that this time....

QPStu
Our chances of winning or even forcing extra time are very slim so a scoreline smaller than what our chums from Cumbernauld suffered would be fine. I really just want to see us being competitive and avoiding a complete hammering. Gus though strikes me as the type who won't let the goals rack up. After all, we were holding out for a 1-0 win against 10 men last weekend.
an86
Have we sold many? I've never looked forward to a cup tie less than this. A stadium full of brain donors, it's in Airdrie, we'll lose.

The Spider
I've been inundated with donations from Spiders' fans all wanting to buy Tedi a drink in our (their) new social club, and there will be several pints of our new ale "Cinesra" (brewed by Magnus of Cologne which proved so popular with Clyde fans at the start of the season) waiting behind the bar for him as part of a well-deserved pre-paid special hospitality package in honour of his helping to secure our club's long term future - an incredibly generous gesture considering the uncertainty as to whether his own team will even make it past Xmas. Still, if the liquidators do get called in again, Tedi can take comfort in the knowledge that he'll always be welcome to join us in Scotland's best stadium to cheer on the hoops as the Gus-bus shifts into top gear during the second half of the season. QPSAFalkirkFirm
A tight game is unlikely but who'd have predicted our last cup derby against a Championship side would turn out like this..... http://qptv.queensparkfc.co.uk/season1213/partickThistle140812.shtml

Hampden Diehard
Everyones too busy laughing at celtic.... There was plenty of laughing at the jolly Gers last night. I reckon you were a better side two years ago; certainly no progress and you didn't have an absolute bombscare like Moshni. Laughing at Celtic cannot gloss over how dreadful Rangers are. Really pleasantly surprised by our performance last night. McPherson got his tactics and selection spot on and the guys on the park took their opportunity to shine. Pretty chuffed and back to looking forward to matches again.
