Victory totally deserved the victory and 3-0 could easily have been 4, 5 or 6-0. Mark Milligan just been awarded the Joe Marston medal for best on ground and good choice. There's always next season. Eednud Posted May 29, 2015 Share Posted May 29, 2015 Off to Adelaide United v Villareal tonight. Villareal should be too strong for Adelaide but hoping for a good game. ETA: Not a bad game for a friendly. Adelaide went 1-0 up in 1st half through Goodwin then Marrone made it 2-0 after 50 mins. Trigueros pulled one back around 60 mins. Adelaide had been playing quite well but about 10 mins after the Villareal goal they fell apart or Villareal shook off the jet lag. Vietto equalised 4 mins from time then Moreno scored winner just on full time. Crowd just over 9,000. Villareal off to Brisbane for John Aloisi's first game in charge of the Roar.
