Oooft, only when I first started going did I think Pittodrie was 'grand' but then again I was only seven and back then I thought the Six Million Dollar man was a documentary Much though I love her, Pittodrie is a poor ground. It comes to life when full, but it is rarely a cauldren when 40% to 50% empty. Facilities are dire to basic. As an aside, I last went to Firhill for the Jags v HIVs game (before league cup final) and although it is also a terrible ground with even worse facilities, I enjoyed the atmosphere immensely (I was in the home end). Maybe it was the fact that the Jags were winning, maybe it was because it's a small ground, maybe it was because the fans were great to us (despite my AFC headgear), maybe it was just the novely factor?
