git-intae-thum
One thing that has been like a lurking unspeakable goliath, hulking in the background of the debate is the UK's colossal debt mountain. It strikes me that despite austerity that has caused misery for hundreds of thousands, we have not reduced the debt by a penny, indeed it is still rising at a staggering £4000 a second. Needless to say if this continues we are in deep trouble. I have yet to hear a UK politician tell us how we are to escape this slow seemingly inescapable path to poverty No voters.
