SouthLanarkshireWhite
the uk rail network is among the worst in the developed world. Maybe its about time johnny foreigner showed us how its done. Far to many people think anything foreign is bad, bellow uk standards etc etc when the facts are very different. The acceptable standards in the uk for many things is way bellow what would be excepted in many developed country's. Especially spelling and grammar

Savage Henry
New trains should have plug sockets or at very least usb charging points. And passengers. To return to the news though. I would gladly see First go out of business. Their Inverness to Glasgow service often borders on farce, and I don't just mean Perth. Compare their train service to East Coast or Virgin, and it's not even close.
Sherrif John Bunnell
Hopefully the new franchise also means an end to the pointlessly loud automated announcements you get when the train is pulling into a station.
