CityDave
Pointed in the direction of this site as Dublin Airport has suspended all incoming flights and departures http://www.flightradar24.com/EZY8508/53a70bcbut yet flights are still being sent to there and stacking up. Wouldn't want to be flying tonight. I see a few flights right where the worst of the weather is.

Romeo
Pray for me (or light a candle) I can hear the wind rattling the lid of my blue recycling bin up and down. Green and grey bins secure so far, further updates to follow. Edited January 8, 2015 by Romeo

Lisa Cuddy
blue bin is on it's side, I repeat blue bin is on it's side..... We've got a wee potted tree that sits on the patio table outside. Well, we did have. It's blown off now. And yes, I laughed when I typed "blown off".

Njord
I'm north of snekie and local weather station at a campsite showing it hit 83 mph at 11.33. As usual, the cheap piece of shite has stopped at this point, it can't hack higher speeds than that, but it has cranked it up since then speedwise with the worst a few hours away yet. No sleep tonight then

Mr Sugden
My satellite dish is on a long pole. It's now upside down swinging back a forward along the side of the house. No sleep for me then. I've been out to cut the cables but it's still hanging there. Hope it works its way loose and falls to the ground soon. I'm knackered.
