haggis pakora
Hope we get Dundee that sounds about OK.
red23
it's also quite good as its a chance to draw Rangers as the away team just so it doesn't look too obvious........OH! look at that, its a neutral venue, what were the chances! 1320Lichtie
Couldn't have hand picked a better outcome neutral wise. Although I am hoping United win it Should be 2 cracking ties regardless. Where will they be played? If it's an OF one it could throw up a bit of bother for a venue.

K-Koke
I think we'll get the sheep, then Celtic in the final. Apparently the goon brigade wont be in attendance if they draw us

Waffelz
Hopefully when we no doubt draw The Rangers we can play it at Tannadice.

Rovers1992/1993
Who the feck is 'we'? Nail your colours to the mast. I'm guessing he's a Rangers fan as he was being cocky and disrespectful to Aberdeen in his post by saying they'll get them which means they'll be in the final against Celtic.. CityDave
A Rangers v Dundee Utd semi final if it happens should be played at Easter Road with a 50/50% allocation to the clubs for both sets of supporters. Rangers only average around 13,000 to cup games now.
bennett
Sorted out two premiership teams already this season, playing against a better standard of team now and it'll be a good test of how good we are if we get any of those of teams. On paper United and the Sheep are probably similar to us but we have an Ally, while celtic obviously have a better and stronger squad.

Lewis MacLeod is the only Rangers player who would likely get in the Dons team, replacing Willo Flood. Apart from that, no- one else would get in. Once upon a time I'd have said Lee Wallace but he appears to have gone backwards.

On paper United and the Sheep are probably similar to us but we have an Ally, while celtic obviously have a better and stronger squad. A defected last minute winner against a less than full strength Inverness side who got their tactics wrong. Indeed I can see why Rangers fans think their team is better than a team currently sitting 2nd in the Premiership and Rangers having the 2nd highest wages in the leagues. On paper means nothing, on paper Hamilton are the weakest team in the Premiership, but as we know what's on paper doesn't win games. Both Aberdeen and Dundee Utd are way ahead of Rangers, seen both this season and they move the ball about better, more pace and fitness and simply have better players. Can't speak about the St. Js game as I didn't see it but vs Inverness Rangers were very average against a very inept performance from us and our worst performance of the season. On my paper Rangers have been very lucky to get this far in this competition. But I suppose sometimes its better to be lucky than good.
1320Lichtie
Beating ICT was impressive never saw the game but on paper it's a cracking result, however that St Johnstone team were shocking the other night, id say Rangers are better than them and I think St Johnstone might struggle badly this season going by that. Rangers are currently the weakest out the 4 teams left IMO though I think Aberdeen would be their best chance of getting through.

It wasn't impressive at all, I watched it and it was eye bleeding stuff from both teams. As for the St. Js they seemed to have gone backwards since the start of the season and are nowhere near to being the same side that won the cup last season. Possibly, Aberdeen are not too clever at the back and Rangers do have the firepower up front and a semi decent midfield but that's all they have. If Aberdeen have one of their good days Rangers will be well beaten.
