harry94
How many matches are televised in this round? I'm assuming it's just the two and they will pick the Old Firm up? Don't want the inconvenience of a Sunday fixture but the monies would be nice.
Elixir
Three games are on the box and this will be one of them.
Guest
Winnable for both teams. The next round will be very open and a helluva lot more interesting than this round. Canna whack Dundee away.
Mr Gandosaur
Last time we drew Aberdeen in the 4th round at Dens we got to the final. (Although they beat us in a 3rd round replay the following season). Reckon this will definately be a TV game.
La_Leyenda
Last time we won the league cup we got knocked out at Dens Park the following season. It was the League Cup they knocked us out of, but still.
harry94
Does anyone know what the TV slots are and how they are divied up? Last season it was Saturday 12.15 (Falkirk V Rangers - Sky), Sunday 12.45 (Partick V Aberdeen - Sky), Sunday 3 (Hearts V Celtic - BBC). I'd quite like to avoid the Sunday 12.45 slot but it seems quite likely.
Shengus Khan
Was our Fri night game against Killie not on the telly? I honestly can't remember.
harry94
Was our Fri night game against Killie not on the telly? I honestly can't remember. Pretty sure it wasn't because my United supporting mate took me along and I remember speaking about that at the time. I think it was a Friday because Dundee had drawn Raith at home as well and United opted for a Friday night instead of the Sunday (which provided a decent crowd). BBC get 2nd pick and prefer Sunday 3pm-ish which means Sky take the two lunchtime slots.
Ludo*1
More meh. Very hard tie against a team we'll be playing enough this season already. Winnable but meh.
AberDon
When will we know whether or not this is on TV? I need to book trains.
harry94
When will we know whether or not this is on TV? I need to book trains. Last year, the draw was made on a Monday and TV details were up on a Thursday so hopefully by then.
derrybiy
Shite draw. I was hoping for a diddy team to begin a decent cup run.
The Master
Live on BBC, Saturday 29th 12.15 KO.
harry94
Probably the best televised slot we could hope for. That's around £80k each and hopefully won't deter too many people from the gate.

Mr Gandosaur
When was the last time we won on live tv? Would be the challenge cup final against Inverness on Alba. In terms of Sky or proper BBC I think it would have been the Steve Lovell 2-1 derby at Dens. Happy to be corrected
The Master
If we're including extra time, we beat Hamilton in a Scottish Cup replay live on Sky in 2006.
