Thought that was the original one and was like ya wee dancer, then i discovered it was the bland remake and was like bugger it. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Dr Koop Posted November 25, 2014 Share Posted November 25, 2014 Nothing bland about the remake. The original, on the other hand, made the Krankies Christmas panto look like the first 25 minutes of Saving Private Ryan. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
scottsdad Posted November 25, 2014 Share Posted November 25, 2014 Oh aye, the original is where all the great drama was. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Homer Thompson Posted December 1, 2014 Share Posted December 1, 2014 Its on Netflix anyway. I got a bit bored with it to be honest. Think I got as far as the one where the blonde crashes onto a nearby planet 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

scottsdad Posted December 3, 2014 Share Posted December 3, 2014 That was a wee bit of a plot hole but it freaked me out a little. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

~~~ Posted December 5, 2014 Share Posted December 5, 2014 It's one of the best TV shows I've ever seen 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
DA Baracus Posted December 5, 2014 Share Posted December 5, 2014 It's brilliant. There are certainly a good few episodes that could be cut or merged to 'streamline' it, and the 'angels' stuff was daft and almost lazy, but it was a really enjoyable show. Baltar was the boy. He just fucked absolutely everyone. I'm sure there must be a deleted scene where he fucks Bill Adama. His space harem was tremendous. Humanity is near extinction and trying to find a place to live before the supplies and fuel run out and they die, all whilst being hunted by mental robots intent on wiping them out, and Baltar decides the best course of action is to try and shag his way out of it. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Can't really see a flaw in that plan tbh. And let's not forget, even when there wasn't any actual women around he had a sex mad "head Six" that was willing to beat him off at any given opportunity. edit: and "NO MORE MR NICE GAIUS!!" was a pinnacle that the script writers struggled to top for the entire run of the show. It was the best plan. Whilst folk ran about flapping about all sorts of shit, Baltar was shagging humams, cylons and I'm pretty sure he even tried to f**k Galactica. Yes, the actual military spaceship itself. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
KnightswoodBear Posted December 5, 2014 Share Posted December 5, 2014 It wasn't that final jump that broke Galactica's back....... Amirite? 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
MuckleMoo Posted December 6, 2014 Share Posted December 6, 2014 The original film had one of the best theme songs ever. Right up there with Star Wars. Battlestar Galactica (1978) Theme: 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
