Spotify - My Year in Music

Quentin Taranbino

Recommended Posts

Is back, where it tells you how many minutes you have listened to music this year along with your most played tunes.

Only trouble for me is that I get a blank screen when connecting

Anyone else having this trouble? If not then lets not be embarrassed by posting your lists :)

Works for me.

Apparently I'm most into Pop & Pop-rock, specifically Deacon Blue & Fleetwood Mac.

In Spring, I apparently listened to a lot of Gavin Mikhail - I have no idea who he is or what he does.

But there you have it.

Gavin Mikhail was my most listened to artist last year I think. He has some really good tracks. Pretty much all covers

No idea. To be honest, most of the time I just fire on the generic playlists and let it do it's thing.

Top 5 Albums:

Les Miserables soundtrack

Tornado - Jonsi

Sprawl I (Flatland)

You Can Call Me Al - Paul Simon

Days Are Gone - Haim

I'm So Excited - The Pointer Sisters

Does this thing not include your personal playlist? Only 5 of my top 10 songs are in the playlist which I listen to literally every time I'm on spotify... In terms of Top 5 Artists, I only know one Jack Johnson song and two Jonsi. I couldn't tell you what songs Animal Arithmetic, Tornado, Days Are Gone, Sprawl 1 (Flatland), and We Used to Wait are, I have no idea. Those 2 Arcade Fire songs are from the album The Suburbs, of which I only listen to 1 song (Sprawl II).

In short, I don't think this thing is an accurate reflection of my listening habits, which is a shame, because I can only imagine it having some embarrassing results (I'm looking at you Take That)

Yeah that explains it. Quite disappointing as mine would have looked a lot different :(
