Using iPad Air - not Air 2 Sky email through iPad default mail program - yahoo is the server Issue Download daily emails, read some and don't read others. Next day go into inbox and nothing is there from the previous day and has been moved to the trash folder. Tried changing the settings on yahoo to never mark as read automatically as this seemed like the obvious fix but this didn't work. I phone the apple helpline and they suggested the same thing. supermik Posted December 11, 2014 Share Posted December 11, 2014 I'm using gmail and iCloud, the problem I am having is the opposite. All of my mail stays in the inbox and I have to highlight each one in order to send them to trash. Pain in the backside at times, took me about an hour to get rid of them.
