ki11ie
Not sure how accurate or true this is to be. Heard Taylor Sinclar former Thistle full back could be coming to us. If true could be a real coup.

Quitongo's Left Peg
Stuart Findlay has officially signed on a 1 year loan deal. Great signing. We got the matchday reporter from Dumbarton to give us a run down on what Stuart's like as a player on the new show, so aye... #CheapPlug #NaeShame #WhyAmIHashtagging https://soundcloud.com/oneteaminayrshire
Fraser Fyvie
3 year contract for Carrick?
Quitongo's Left Peg
3 year contract for Carrick? Somebody should just add a disclaimer to the bottom of all their tweets on how it isn't actually a "three-year deal" in the truest sense.

Killiesquirrel
What is it then? Michael Ngoo had a 3 year deal, he's just left after less than a year. Willy Gros had a 3 year deal, he left a year after signing it. Lee miller, I'm sure he had 3 years too.. There's so many clauses in the contract that it'll only be 3 years if killie want it too. jagfox
What is it then? It's a three year deal with the dispensation that Killie aren't shite and end up near the bottom of the table. Essentially a one year deal

Regardless, all those players chose to leave because they weren't getting game time didn't they? What sort of clauses do you expect on Carrick's contract? If they were worried about his injury record they wouldn't have given him 3 years surely.

Probably a clause whereby we can terminate his contract if he fails to make a certain number of appearances. There are similar examples of players getting long contracts which are terminated after a year for as long as Johnston has been in charge.
Cille Mhernaig
It will more than likely be a 2 year deal with the 3rd activated once he plays a set amount of games in the 2nd season, or at the clubs discretion if he doesn't. Hence why we got shot of Miller, Cairney etc as they hadn't played enough for last year to kick in. Can work against us as well as Samson has played enough for the final year to trigger and now we're stuck with him unless he finds another club

Ngoo was sacked because of an incident in the gym (allegedly) where he smashed a woman's phone. Miller didn't have his second year 'activated' so to speak. Carrick will likely have a two year deal, with a third as others have said that kicks in when/if he plays a certain number of games. He won't be a top earner, so will be a decent addition to the squad with the chance to develop him into a sellable asset.
