Francesc Fabregas
Scott Walker has joined the club from Airdrieonians: A full-back that can play on right and the left, you say? Heck yes! This is the cover we're needing, and I reckon that's our defence sorted for the year ahead.

Am Featha Taigh Nan Clach
Not a player I've heard of or know anything about. A quick check of his credentials suggests he'll be a decent enough versatile squad player. Would have preferred if he'd been a left back who could play right back rather than the other way around.

Francesc Fabregas
We must only be one player (a right-sided attacker) away from completing our squad for the year ahead. That'll take us to 20 and give us the quality, depth and versatility we need. I wonder who's available? His name has been mentioned elsewhere in this thread but Hibernian's Joao Balde intrigues me!

Neilly
Sounds like a decent addition and has a good few games at a higher level. A warm welcome to the big man.
Old Fashioned Stramash
Walker is another positive promising signing. The squad is looking in good shape, with a decent standard of player and competition for places throughout. This team could be lethal if it clicks together. Fantastic to even be in a position to think that.
Francesc Fabregas
We're talking on Albion Rovers at home on the first day of the season. The Vers are a side we did pretty well against last term, winning three and drawing the other, and this is a good opportunity for us to make a positive start to the campaign!
Neilly
Nice to start the campaign with three points.

Moonglum25
Can't wait for the season to start. Most confident I have felt since 2005/2006 season when McKeown lost it for us.

Declan Hughes was one of the "BSC lot" Stephen Swift recruited en masse from his former club. I felt he had a bit about him and had some talent with the ball at his feet but he was too slow and immobile for the SPFL and of no use without possession, especially when play transitioned. He had issues with injuries and his overall fitness and didn't feature at all for Stenhousemuir in 2022. Hughes might do Bo'ness United a decent turn, if he can get himself in decent shape. Good luck to him.
Number seven
Thanks for the reply.Out of shape and slow you say?O dear. Better look forward to a relegation fight in the lowland league then.
Old Fashioned Stramash
Hughes was one of the worst players I've seen play for Stenhousemuir in a long time. When pressed, he tended to lose the ball and his passing is slack. Didn't commit to a tackle and is slow. Might do alright at that level though but out of his depth in league 2.
Hard Graft
Scott Walker is presumably the son of Scott Walker who played for the Shire and Alloa amongst others. If he is anything like his father he will be a half decent signing.

Incredible work from the club and its sponsors to keep the prices low and the process as simple as possible. Well done to all concerned! That’s great value and being able to pay your season ticket up monthly is a brilliant initiative. A lot of people don’t have the money to hand over in a oner. Neilly
Most readers will be aware but I've got a bus going to Berwick on Saturday for the friendly. If anyone fancies it drop me a message.
