Rab B Nesbit Posted August 12, 2015 Share Posted August 12, 2015 Went a run doon to the Carlisle United 3 Chesterfield 1 (AET) game tonight. Not a bad cup tie at all Carlisle had the Chesterfield keeper very busy all night and eventually took the lead about 15 minutes from the end. The away side equalised to take it to extra time but had a man sent off for what looked like an elbow right at the start of it. They've sometimes been low if it was a quick goals only style report but generally tv companies have managed to broadcast from a 'normal' height over the years. I take it they just couldn't be arsed forking out for whatever was needed to use a higher position when it was only a Capital Cup first round game. Paul Cook is a definite 'what if' moment for Saints. If he'd agreed terms with Geoff we wouldn't have had Lomas, Wright and all that's happened over the last 4 years.
