Mr. Brightside
Some dive from the defender! He should be banned for his ridiculous theatrics.
Mr. Brightside
Very poor tackle from Stocker there, no idea why he went in like that
Birdman
Ridiculous tackle that. Deserved the red card for the stupid tackle.

German Jag
Mediocre stuff yesterday in Berlin, where H96 lost 2-1 against Union Berlin.A stadium which I was looking forward to visit, but just short of 45 minutes to get in due to security checks, then the option of being behind the flag wavers or next to the dividing wall (perspex), means it's not one I'll be rushing to visit again.Despite the over-excessive security checks going in, the 'Ultras' were still able to get shitloads of flares etc. inside Elsewhere Braunschweig won this evening against Kaiserslautern, giving them a 4 point lead at the top.In the BL, Bayern as well as Dortmund drop points for the 2nd game day in a row, allowing Köln / Leipzig & Hertha to move in between the 2.At the other end of the table, Bremen's win against Leverkusen drags them up the table. Ingolstadt & SV Hamburg currently occupy the relegation spots.
Fuctifano
Some walk through a forest to get there though. Never seen so many people having a piss in the trees as on the walk from the closest train station.
German Jag
Managed to get a ticket for the away derby game against top of the table Eintracht Braunschweig. Not been to one before (was living in China the last time both teams were in the same league). Safe to say all police leave will be cancelled for the weekend in question.
Central
HSV down to ten men for the 2nd game in a row and lost 3-0 tonight at home to Frankfurt. Now sitting second bottom with 2 points from 8 games, not looking good. Edited October 21, 2016 by Central
Allan Jacobsen
Heidenheim are having a tremendous season so far. They're currently in second place behind Eintracht Braunschweig although both H96 and Union Berlin could overtake them tomorrow with victories in their respective games. Looks like their success is being based on their defence this season. Only 5 conceded so far. That and Frank Schmidt is tremendous
lanky_ffc
Watched a full RB Leipzig game for the first time this season. Really impressed with the way they press high up the pitch and the tempo they want to play at, but I thought they were a bit one-dimensional in possession today. That said, they were comfortable enough against a Werder side who rarely threatened until they were 2-0 down. That's them still unbeaten and already broken the record for best start for a newly promoted side.
Mr. Brightside
And with each win the salty tears of the wanky German #amfers get all the sweeter.
DigOutYourSoul
And with each win the salty tears of the wanky German #amfers get all the sweeter. This, it makes me want them to do well. Checking their results every week and hoping for a win.
German Jag
Two defeats in a row for H96 as they lost 2-0 to Nuremberg in Nuremberg.Just over 200 miles between Hannover & Nuremberg, or a 3 hour trip on the ICE. Once there, getting out to the Frankenstadion is easy with numerous extra trains put on to cover the 6 minute journey. From the train station up to the stadium involves walking past the Zeppelin Field where a certain short of stature Austrian did some stand-up ca. 80 years ago.H96 off to a terrible start with keeper Radlinger gifting a goal after just 4 minutes. The 2nd came in the 20th minute with some non-existant marking, giving Burgstaller acres of space & time to score.H96's day summed up when Albornoz missed a penalty with 17 minutes still to go .Frankenstadion is ok, as mentioned easy to get to, full-strength beer available in the away end as also being able to pay in cash It does however have an athletics track round it which kills the atmosphere a little, with both the away & home standing sections being far apart Result leaves H96 8pts adrift of Eintracht Braunschweig, with a group of 5-6 clubs bunched up behind Next league game is at home to Würzburg on Sunday. This week sees the 2nd round of the DFB-Pokal H96 host Fortuna Düsseldorf on Wednesday. Other ties include St. Pauli/Hertha, Gladbach/Stuttgart as well as 3rd division Halle hosting BL strugglers Hamburg.
German Jag
H96 scudded an abysmal Fortuna Düsseldorf 6-1 (4-0 up after 16 minutes) last night in the 2nd round of the DFB Pokal. In the subsequent draw for the next round (7/8th February) they got drawn at home to Eintracht Frankfurt.Main upset of the round was 3rd division Sportfreunde Lotte (who put out Bremen in the previous round) beating Bayer Leverkusen on penalties.Dortmund drawn at home to Hertha, Bayern at home to Wolfsburg.

Latino Lover
Planning on going over for Dortmund - Koln at end of April and wondering if anyone knows when tv times will be out for second half of season? Know nothing about Dortmund as a city or if we should bother stopping there as likely to be flying to Dusseldorf or Amsterdam and then getting train in.
Fuctifano
Dortmund is ok, folk go on about it like it's the outer hebrides but there's plenty of decent pubs . Düsseldorf does have far more nightlife tho , Dortmund is about 50 minutes on the train from there .

Last week in February / beginning of March before the games for that game day will be set as regards dates & times. CL semi-finals the following week. In the off-chance that Dortmund are still involved, the Cologne game won't be on the Sunday. As fuctifino says, Dortmund isn't as bad as often made out. Düsseldorf does have more to offer and travel, by local train, will be included in the match ticket.
