Guest bernardblack
Surprised there wasn't already a thread for this tbh. Should be some game. Potential for both teams to have won their first four games leading into this one too.
Shandon Par
After four matches with an unchanged lineup this might be a chance to give some guys a start. Judging by performances from our subs, we could make three or four changes without weakening the lineup (Wallace, Hopkirk, Falky, Talbot). Potential to play a trialist or or two (eg MAC). Hard to see how this can be anything other than an 8-1 victory for the visitors.
Panama
Hard to see how this can be anything other than an 8-1 victory for the visitors. Really? I beg to differ, sir! I fancy it might be a much closer game than that. Forfar are going to be much harder to beat than Brechin and Cowden.
Shandon Par
I suppose our 4-1,5-1,6-1,7-1 winning streak has to end at some point but it's not as if everything we hit goes in - could very easily have been in double figures today. Unrecognisable from last season's team.
Pars fan
I'm glad that we're going into this game on a high! If Douglas isn't playing for Forfar we might reach the 10 (Ten). . .
The Talisman
Hope we give players who've came on recently the full 90, guys like Talbot, Wallace and hopkirk etc, don't know much about the Forfar team this year but as always Campbell will have them fired up for playing us. I'll go for 1-2 pars.
We Are Pars Fans!
Shite cup. I would make 11 changes, save the players for the league game on Sat n the Dundee game.

parsforlife
I'd be tempted to make a few changes and Johnston has hinted at that. A few games close together and this tie is very much the least important. Cresto11
Not fussed for this cup in the slightest. No real money to be earned and can be a distraction. We've started very impressively as have Dunfermline. Can't see many changes for us.
HoBNob
Ring the changes. Hutton Williamson Fordyce/BRE Martin Fordyce Hopkirk Spence Falkingham Cardle Moffat Wallace Won't be reading to much into this, if we win I'll be shocked
DAFC.
Would honestly change most of the settled starting XI for this. Diddy cup and there's no point risking key players getting injured. Would give guys, who are good enough to play, a chance who find themselves frozen out a bit. Would we be penalised for changing most of the squad? Would like to see: Hutton Talbot Martin Fordyce Williamson Hopkirk Falkingham Spence Cardle Wallace El Bakhatoui Couldn't give a flying fox about the result. Would probably get beat with a full strength squad anyway. We are hopeless against the big old men of Forfar
Pars fan
It's going to be our toughest game so far, hopefully we field our strongest team. It would be great to win the cup, beating Rangers in the final would remove the "diddy cup" tag.

Pars fan
It really wouldn't! Yes it would. Rangers will most likely win the league this year so they won't be in it again. Keeping the title amongst us 'diddy clubs' prevents it being diddy, in my book anyway. Raith rovers did us proud last year and I'd like to see Dunfermline lift any kind of cup to be honest.
