Milnzo
Also, can't agree with those wishing Dunnerz luck against the basket case. Only one of the Dundee teams are remotely close to posing a threat and it ain't the East Angus Massive.
scottorae
Dons completely dominated 1st half but Dundee a lot improved in second and actually tried to play a bit more. Greg Stewart is a cracking player while Harkins is enjoyable to watch. What a goal monster Rooney is.
DensParkNumber1
Aberdeen looked very solid at the back , much better than last years team. Thought they were starting to runout of ideas when the goal happened... Its the hope that kills. Cant wait for the international break so we can get some of our players fit again. SweeperDee
Rooney is the sort of player we are missing from our front line. Absolutely cracking player.
derrry rhumba
Is it just me who thinks kevin holt isnt good enough? Hayes got past him like he wasnt even there and st johnstones only joy last week was down his side and taking him on. On the game, think dundee should of kept the same game plan as 1st half. Boring to watch but nobody would of complained as we walked out with a point
DensParkNumber1
Bit harsh, Holt had done a great job keeping Hayes/Logan/McGinn in check down his side but was left exposed at the goal. A CB should of been over covering the run
derrry rhumba
Everyone has different opinions but i couldn't stop moaning any time he had the ball. he gives away possesion any time hes past the half way line. And like i said, gets ripped down the line too easy. Anyone with pace beats him
Miguel Simao
£50 note bet that the next sacking in the SPFL top league is Hartley. My charity is Macmillans. ^^^ Macmillans CEO
AR851903
Frustrating 65-odd minutes but result was never in doubt when we scored. Thought Considine was outstanding today and probably should have got motm. Shinnie also coasted through another game - bargain of the year without question. Delighted with another 3 points - no thanks to the ref who had an absolute mare.
AnAnInginAneAnA
Delighted with another 3 points - no thanks to the ref who had an absolute mare. I'd disagree with that last bit. As far as Bobby Madden's past performances have gone it wasn't too bad I don't think.
Deefiant
Not getting the Holt hate. He's adapting to a higher standard and doing not too bad. He has had a tough 2 weeks against o'halloran and Hayes/McGinn but these guys are as good as he will face (Celtic aside) Remember how inept Paul McGinn looked at times last season and even greg Stewart struggled initially. Give him a round of fixtures to adapt and I think we'll see improvement. He has shown he can get forward well and has a good delivery. Also another big lad which we sorely need. Deeboy
The 'constantly loses the ball past the halfway line' is what baffled me. His through passes to Hemmings have caused no end of trouble so far this season. It's not even punts, it's well weighted passes on the floor. RawB93
Totally agree. This time last year we had willie dyer ffs.
Dee Till A Die
Holt & co. will take time to adapt to the league. It's a big jump. Well done Aberdeen. No complaints with the result. Need to dust ourselves down and get back to winning ways against ICT.
Deeboy
Totally agree. This time last year we had willie dyer ffs. I understand what you're saying but I will not hear a bad word about Wull or his magnificent array of wristwear.
BucksburnDandy
£50 on Hartley to be binned first? As the Derry massive would say - minter! Pleasing win today against an understandably more negative than normal Dundee team. Bar the first 15 of the second half, I felt we had control of the game and our patien approach was rewarded. While Dundee were more defensive than last season (due to injuries), we played in a manner far better than in any of our games then. We retained possession, tried not to punt the ball away needlessly and defensively looked far more sound. Whilst Hayes didn't have his finest afternoon, it was magic that he shut the absolute plug standing next to me up with his cross for the goal, after said plug screaming for McInnes to hook Hayes. Prime example of why not to sub Hayes till late - playing poorly by his standards and still produces a game defining piece of quality. Interesting change of approach from Del also to put Hayes on Harkins for long spells today, to snuff out the threat Harkins poses. Whilst it reduced Hayes effectiveness, it also greatly reduced Harkins. Superb for Rooney to get both goals, he and Goodwillie both again had fine afternoons. All the best to Dundee for the rest of the season, bar against us, hopefully you clean out the DABs and finish comfortably above them.

R.Mutt
How was Josh Parker? Didn't have long enough on the ball to make real judgment. Put himself about a bit.
