RedWeb
Del Potro would be a real test on a surface the Argentine will much prefer to Murray. He'll do well to get beyond that tie. Murray owns Del Potro physically and mentally. I'd be surprised if he ever beats Murray in a meaningful match.
Reynard
Murray owns Del Potro physically and mentally. I'd be surprised if he ever beats Murray in a meaningful match. Maybe. Clay suits Del Potro better than Murray though. I like Del Potro as a player. He is a big galoot like me. I take inspiration from watching him being a bit of a shambolic looking mess on the court. He has a beast of a forehand which Murray will have to nullify. On clay that is a harder job.
Skyline Drifter
Murray owns Del Potro physically and mentally. I'd be surprised if he ever beats Murray in a meaningful match. Del Potro takes the first set on a tie break despite having trailed 5-2 earlier in it.

dunfermline saint
Liked Sue Barker asking him what he thought of the roof. "It's....erm.....lovely?!" The look on his face was one of 'it's just a roof'

Skyline Drifter
What tournament was that he was playing in? The French hasn't started already has it? It was an exhibition match in Paris. I'm surprised Eurosport even showed it. They must have precious little else to show!
StewartyMac
I think Murray could come unstuck in the 1st Round at Roland Garros. One of the worst draws he could have got. Ok, Chela has slipped way down the rankings, but clay is the only surface he ever plays well on. Murray will have to be at the very top of his game to win this one, I reckon.

It's a very dangerous first round draw but looking deeper into it, if he can get past Chela, it's a pretty tepid draw for him and a semi final is quite feasible.

Although I think I read in The Times that Chela has only reached the QF in Paris once in 8 attempts so not that fearsome for Andy. Get past round 1 and he can easily make SF - Stepanek/Cilic/Montanes/Simon/Gonzo possible opponents and can be dispatched without a fuss. Verdasco and Almagro are in Nadals section so i'm glad he misses out on either of those in early rounds.
