Widhaw
Change of topic from the norm , best amateur pitch you have played a match on & also who's got the worst , might embarrass some councils with this question lol. Best. Gartcosh. Wonderful surface , Worst. For me Logan's rd motherwell , no grass , solid , always covered in glass , dressing rooms from Hell,

JG08
Theres a 3G up drumchapel way, cant mind name was very good when up there. Worst theres too many, not a fan of hamilton palace grass parks and glasgow greens grass park to the side of the building is brutal also
4anc
How can a 3G be included in a best pitch thread? They are murder.
Irvine Town Afc
The new grass park @ Kilwinning sports club behind the 4g pitch is an absolute gem of a park. Worst locally sorry to say is minishant,
ghsfp01
Oban Saints, parks up at Stepps used by Cambria and Strathclyde Uni. Clark Drives park down at Irvine Sports club is always in great shape. As for bad ones 9/10 grass parks these days are not looked after, Nethercraigs are very poor now. Gman91184
Best park is colvilles by a mile , worst parks are nethercraigs . Used to be cracking parks . Just loaded with sand and forked these days
pleslie99
Dumbarton accies park is excellent, like a bowling green as far as grass parks go. Plenty bad ones, played on a horrific one down Motherwell way a few years ago that had no running water in the shed that was the changing rooms, a big ditch in the middle of the park that was filled with sand and to top it off, no nets lol ref still let the game go ahead! Boselecta
Played in Scottish Cup mid80s up in Dundee and what a slope this park had and the park was scattered with nude books!!!
Area 51
Hampden, against the amateurs of Queens Park when they had team in the Caledonian League. They made the final of the West Cup. The worst was Cambusbarron on a windy day
last man standing
Worst was down at ballantrae when they were in ayrshire league , slopes galore , stand at one corner flag and cudnt see the other combined with the wind of the sea , never knew how that pitch was accepted lol
Brox/hill
Best surface a have seen to date is Colville ! Worst like some have said theirs so many but one that sticks in my mind is balerno Afc park in Currie Edinburgh It's unreal how many dips and from touch line to touch line a would go as far as saying it's about 3/4 feet a difference in height ! heeders
Defo ballantrae last man actually just posted that the other day lol runs that much of a diagonal u cant see the opposite corner flag it was horrific before u tske the wind in, played in scottish sure it was a team called halfway? Good wee setup n a cracking park
HEY_SIDNEY
Colville is best. Few baddies. Keir hardy, not the one at sporty, the one up the road that sits on a hell of a slant. the park up in hart hill, across from juniors down the dead in is probably the worst. Jg08 think Hamilton palace is decent, also the GG next to building is a belter. You must play on dece pitches every week lol.
AyrshireBeanCoonter
Best one played on is Colville's. Don't think 4G parks should come into this the surface is all the same really. Worst one's played on Scott Ellis and Netherthird (both on wet days mind you) and Drumley Utd ( surface actually good but slopes all over the place)
heeders
Too young for ballantrae bean coonter?
