Really ? The first link has a list of headlines during the referendum. All shite, some mental but ALL printed in newspapers.

Again "all shite" is your opinion. Some undoubtedly are but in my opinion rightly or wrongly some such as a Scottish economic depression may be true.I can differentiate between my "opinion"and fact.Sadly Campbell loonball assumes all his "opinions"are incontestable facts.

I find it entirely laughable that the "all in it together", "pooling and sharing", "one nation", "no borders" Unionists pop a fucking capillary at the not in any way new news that Stuart Campbell lives in Bath.

Brushing aside your dreadful attempt at humour for a second, do you not see the irony in a servile Britnat being up in arms at Stuart Campbell living in Bath?

Surely we're all one big cuddly country?

Or is that only when it suits?

Campbell did not have a vote in the referendum and it's laughable that you think it is not relevant. He also admits that he supported a "BritNat"party (as you call them) on his blog - "The site is edited and maintained by Rev. Stuart Campbell, a Liberal Democrat voter at every election from 1992 to 2010 inclusive but now non-aligned."

Neither did David Cameron. What's your point?

Irony mainly as he would not gain much personally, if anything, from Scotland's independence. I admire his tenacity as it is not easy to build up a large readership for a political blog. The Guido Fawkes blog is the only one with a bigger audience.

Um, that's not what irony is, unless you get your definition of irony from Alanis Morissette. ;)

I'm always surprised that people (and I don't mean you here) berate this guy for campaigning for Scottish independence whilst living elsewhere in the UK. I genuinely saw someone claiming that it's ok for Cameron and anyone living outside the UK to campaign for a "No" vote but no acceptable for them to campaign for a "Yes" vote. The reason? Because it's not ok to tell people why to vote for change, but it's ok to tell people to vote for things to stay the same (not that that has happened with a "no" vote).

He can live where he likes but I still find amusement in his Scottish independence obsession while holed up in the West Country.I again stress its only my opinion but he comes across to me as a tinfoil hat wearing attention seeker.Maybe he just wants to tell Scottish people he lives abroad. ..

I would not berate anybody for campaigning for anything that they believe in.

So you pick a story that's, at best, in the "may be true " bracket ? That's intentionally misleading if you write something that you don't have a Scooby Doo whether it's true or not. You're clutching at straws here. Not really a fan of Campbell but he blows holes in unionist propaganda with ease and with evidence to back it up. Here's some headlines for you.

David Cameron didn't have a vote in the referendum either, doesn't stop him having an opinion.

He did support the Lid Dems until he realised what out and out cnuts they are. What's wrong with that ?

Stop talking shite , the unionists on this thread couldn't come up with a brain cell between them.

I could probably believe half as possibilities but as I said Wings saying its not true isn't the gold standard of debunkings although you seem somewhat in awe of it.

^ The Lib Dems have always been avid Unionists.

The Lib Dems have always claimed (and still claim) to support federalism, a system in which Scotland would be in control of all domestic policy and all Scottish revenue, with Westminster being a meeting place for British MPs to discuss foreign affairs and defence. The fact that they argued for nothing approaching this during the Smith Commission, likely the only time they'd have the opportunity to make any kind of difference, has only recently betrayed their lily-livered promises of federalism to be entirely meretricious.

Good for you. Leading headlines with no substance is what that boils down to. Must be right up your street.
