Zen Archer (Raconteur)
Sparky was a great player in his time at Starks Park, sadly he went down hill after his car crash.

CALDERON
One of the best defenders Ive seen play for the Rovers. Gutted for him.
Meddaheroes1973
Gutted for Mark, was a superb signing and great player for Irvine Meadow. Was also delighted for the big fella getting his hands on a Junior cup winners medal, even if it was with the Talbot. With his experience & knowledge, I'd like to think we'll see him back in the game in some capacity as soon as possible. All the best Sparky. Sancho Panza
One of the guys you hated playing against you cos you never got any change out of him,sad news.
Larky55
He was a true leader, in a team of true leaders at Beechwood Park last season. Tremendous presence on the pitch, no nonsense defending, & a constant goal threat from set pieces in the opposition box. Don't believe anybody won a challenge for a high ball against him last season. Very sad news, but enjoy your retirement.
meadow30
sorry to hear Mark's career coming to an early end. big guy should have won the scottish in his last year at meadow but due to poor decisions from the management team in the second leg against hurlford he remained on the bench instead of on the park. all the best in the future. would be a good meadow manager! Bruno marsbar
Great player good to see him get a scottish junior cup winners medal to add to his collection. Great in the air scored a few important goals from corners & set pieces. Big loss to Talbot & junior game in general.
