paleface
Spoke to d.Cummings he said it was like playing on a cow field and the replay might be at Spartans as Saughton pitch is fecked. if true would be perfect as LTHV will destroy them on that pitch

calmac25
I was hoping that this would've been an early kick off at saughton so I could get to the hearts game too. The sad thing is that most Edinburgh football fans will not have a clue about this game being on, it would be good if hearts and hibs gave it some advertising
surely not!
I was hoping that this would've been an early kick off at saughton so I could get to the hearts game too. The sad thing is that most Edinburgh football fans will not have a clue about this game being on, it would be good if hearts and hibs gave it some advertising Why would they? It's tight times for clubs and every penny counts. Why would they advertise a rival game unless they're fully sold out themselves? Hibs will want as many travelling as possible and hearts will look to fill tynecastle for the on the home league game in a row.

geo87
With LTHV looking good to go through, will this cup run provide enough funds to sort their ground problems out? Shame that they seem stuck in EOS? What kind of crowds do normal games attract for you? And do you spend much on wages as opposed to upgrading the ground etc for licensing requirements? rigano
There is no chance the cup run will go anywhere near solving ground issue. Crowds are very low. There was about 50 folk at a crucial end of season game v tynecastle last season.

lowenan
Great result. Not impossible to beat EK and go to an unprecedented 5th round (for a 6th tier team).

They're 16th placed in an 18 team closed shop. What were you expecting?
The Mantis
Haven't seen Huntly since the great Steve Paterson teams of the 90s. Truly blown away tonight by a very good Lothian side.

Strathman
To be fair Huntly beat East Stirling in the round before and this was a replay. They are struggling these days. Lothian etc are having great cup run and have every chance of getting to the last 16.
