You get a senior ground and you moan, you get a Saturday on an amateur ground you moan. The fact is at this time of year if you are a player and lucky enough to be in a major competition you want to play at the best venue available at this stage. It's easy for us to sit here saying they should have done this, they should have done that. Anyone on here confirm for definite there was an alternative venue, an alternative date? No you can't. Grounds like Hamilton etc with 4G are in constant use from Youth, Amateur, Junior, women's. You have to take what is available. Best of luck to Oban Saints and Leven United next week in their biggest match of the season and perhaps for some of the players the game of their career. auld yin wae knowledge Posted March 23, 2016 Share Posted March 23, 2016 Look guys the semi final of the National and District cups are picked to work around the committee of The SAFA who have so ,many game to attend at this time of the year plus the 2 weekends are left blank for International duties which are viewed by some to be more important The Oban game should have been a Friday night at Stirling Albion ground just about close as Half way as you could get.
