B.R
The council leave 3 sets of goals up over the summer, usually changes every year.
NewFollower13
A 7 a side summer league may work, gives teams a chance to put out a team with boys on holiday etc. Also more 7 a side parks available during summer mid week
The Goalie123
That is actually no a bad shout Summer 7s I think folk would buy in to that 👠

NewFollower13
There's 7s pitches at Crosshouse too, milgerholm doesn't have any changing facilities tho. 7s pitches at old racecourse. Just thought with youth football being through summer there'd be more 7s pitches available
meddabhoy
There's loads of 7s parks all over Ayrshire. The oval and hosiery have portable goals to go across the 11s parks and there's 4 at ksc stuck away up in the corner

NewFollower13
Would this have to be sanctioned by the Ayrshire afa? Or even the Scottish afa?
Cheggers84
All teams from any association would need permission from their association and the safa to play in it unless it was just a team of mates
ASL
Would be stand alone, not associated to the AAFA or SFA. Any current AAFA member clubs would technically not be allowed to enter....at least not under the same name as they play in the Ayrshire league. A slight name change gets round this. If it was SFA governed then all clubs would need to pay the £100 odd quid annual fee's, plus £100 sports guard insurance....which for a 8 or 9 week summer season is too much in my opinion
Sir Matt Le Tiss
The over 35s was self policed initially and sfa refs didn't need involved and it was fine at that, you would need retired refs to do it off the books , no sure about he minefield of insurances etc. Good idea would be great fun

meddabhoy
Just went and watched an over 35s game tonight the 1st of the season I believe, decent enough game with both teams have a few dumplings but also a few cracking players. Turf 3-4 Glens. Would rather watch this again rather than the shite on show in the Ayrshire premier the other night. Winlinton/Clark drive game btw, woeful
