He put up a plausible if suspicious defence throughout, can see why even someone as professionally close to him as the director says he gave him the benefit of the doubt throughout. I suppose he's had years to solidify and refine his story. I fell asleep halfway through episode 4 wondering what really happened to Morris, and drearily woke up to Durst admitting dismembering him.
