The fact that the only way now to get a ticket for a game in four days' time that isn't sold it is to turn up at McDiarmid on Tuesday between 10am and 12noon is a bit of a nonsense.

Ticket office was open today, and for a couple of hours tomorrow,as well as Tuesday, so there’s a few options if someone wants a ticket

If someone in Perth wants a ticket...

I’ve had to drive from Glenrothes several times ,if they want to go enough ,they’ll get a ticket, or ask a local to pick one up,there’s plenty ways and means

It’s a shambles that’s clubs don’t offer to post tickets out or find a solution for those fans who don’t live near the ground. For the very few people who would actually need such an option it’s surely not too much to ask for a club to offer to charge a couple of quid extra and  stick them in the post.

Our SLO usually waits outside the away stand with peoples tickets if they cant collect from the ground. But its unfair to expect that from her when an easier alternative is possible.

They do.

You're unlikely to get them in the post in time now though. Thats why its in person only now.

Dundee don't offer e-tickets so even if you did purchase online you'd still need to go in to collect them.

The issue here is Dundee's inability to offer any form of service for tickets themselves other than sending them to Saints and saying "deal with this". Saints providing manpower and effort all for Dundee to make the profit. Its Saints who've been using their online system to sell Dundee's tickets which Saints will be having to pay the third party to arrange.

Fair enough. I’m not sure if we offer to send tickets out at all.

ETA - Do you expect anything less from a joke outfit like Dundee?

Saints offer a service whereby they post tickets out to people I usually receive my ticket with the following days post here in Peebles even after a late afternoon call to the ticket office, obviously with the fact there is 4 extra days of no post, and it's the posties busiest time of year, Saints had to put in place an earlier than usual deadline for those wanting tickets posted out.

As said above the joke is Dundee being not only stuck in the dark ages and being unable to offer any form of eticketing when non league clubs such as Peebles Rovers and Penicuik Athletic can offer such a facility, but also insisting on physical paper tickets rather than a turn up and pay cash gate for anyone with a last minute change of plans despite the fact the ground will be thousands short of capacity.

P.s I have absolutely no idea why a club who recently celebrated the golden anniversary of their last major trophy win are so stuck in past and scared of adapting to the modern world.

Luke Robinson recalled. Nightmare.

Gutted about this. After a rocky start I think he’s been excellent for us. Felt as though we finally had a replacement for considine at LCB (although ideally we would’ve signed a cb in January and put him back to LWB). Huge blow for us against Dundee and for the season
