Officer Barbrady
Watching a lot of reruns, particularly of the first two 'larger' Euros, reminded me of the number of new, innovative ways of playing, and more specifically, the players playing them. From the advent of the wingback, to watching the sublimely Dutch 3-4-3 'diamond', with wonderful footballers struggling to break us or the Swiss down, then mercilessly ripped to pieces by England's five-man frontline, through to the death of the striker four years ago, to the b*****dised version of 'possession football' we have today. What wildly exciting things lie ahead for us this time?

sjc
We should revert back to the 2-2-6 formation of the highly successful Queens Park side of the 1870's. That was the true "high tide mark" of Scottish football.
Bold Rover
We should revert back to the 2-2-6 formation of the highly successful Queens Park side of the 1870's. That was the true "high tide mark" of Scottish football. Didn't Craig Levein revive that formation in Prague?
