South Ireland, North Ireland and Wales all have managers who are great at motivating a team, and instilling discipline and a game plan that they seem to be able to execute on request.

Our media are pretty bad but the Irish media always come across as seriously deluded as to their quality

Whereas we have a manager who's too busy wanting to be the funny guy and everyone's pal.

Just when you thought it couldn't get any worse.

A team who have won one game out of three in the last 16. They have really fucked up expanding this tournament.

That aside hope Ireland beat France and the cheat Henry is in the studio to comment on it.

Hungary won their group and only won one game.

People are fucking desperate for this tournament to fail in some way.

Because those in charge are fairly realistic about our current situation.

Which is what, in relation to three countries (make that four, with Iceland) with no lesser barriers to being competitive international football teams who have now dispelled those myths? Anyone associated with the current Scotland team should be flogged in George Square, or at the very least, publicly shirricked. Their attitudes and commitment levels are fucking disgusting, especially when you see how our rivals' players treat representing their nations.

But the same players with up to five failed campaigns under their belts know they don't have to as they are guaranteed games irrespective of form , fitness or whether they are even playing club football

People are sunburnt, and bitter, and er, Scottish. It's a horrible trinity.

So we're making that age old mistake of picking our best players. Interesting theory.

Except Ireland can't even beat us!

Or does Strachan get credit for motivating a team and instilling discipline and a game plan that they were able to execute on request against Ireland?

Didn't think so

A real kick to the balls watching the home nations and Ireland qualify for the last 16. Could not be more jealous.

You'd think it would motivate the SFA into some sort of action but it won't, they are more than happy to see us fail time and time again with the same old shite

Ireland can beat Germany though. And get the six points needed against Georgia. This isn't something that should be ignored. We didn't get a single point against Germany while Ireland got results in both games. And no, they're not that much better than us, as we showed.

I think the Ireland results were okay and can't really be argued with, but five points from the other teams around us simply wasn't good enough.

6 from 12 and unbeaten from the teams around us. That wasn't the problem.
