pie n beans
What a difference getting lots of fixtures in advance instead of the usual 2 or3.
Willynilly
That's true--hope it continues though! Start of last season I recall was similar up to 2nd sat in September at the start then it was a maximum 2 weeks at a time beyond that!
Willynilly
Welcome back to st.andrews and tayport to the premier. Likewise Sauchie who have enjoyed super league status for 4 years or so--couldn't have seen that coming at start of May prior to Fauldhoose performing the great escape. At the other end welcome from the regionals to downfield Glenrothes Whitburn and last but not least Tranent!---Kevin Thomson and all--well so says "we know the truth". Got a few other facts wrong but on various threads he has maintained this so suspect it's probably right(no smoke without fire etc ).also Derek Riordan to join him??mind you wasn't he struggling latterly to start at east fife? What's the odds of Tranent winning the premier? You would expect sauchie tayport to be close and probably bathgate ?
Belter1
As a Tranent supporter I'm really looking forward to this season. Some good teams in the league. Personally I think the teams coming down from the super league and the teams who just missed out on promotion will be favourites.
pie n beans
Do you think Kevin Thomson would be enough to get them top 3 as their is 10 other players
Willynilly
With or without Thomson,Tranent lost only once last season and appear to have bags of cash to spend so will be attracting guys from other Lothian sides currently at a higher level I'd imagine,so could certainly mount a challenge in premier league. pie n beans
Why do they need a whole new team, Tranent must be one of the favourites with money to splash
Willynilly
I'm not a bathgate fan as such but you're comments before were miles out and still are.! Like pie n beans said you seem to have been on drugs or asleep for a year as bathgate finished close to bottom season 14/15 but were 6thseason just ended but now added 7 or 8 super league or senior experienced players so must be in contention. You're the one that started the Kevin Thomson ball rolling and jos has followed up by saying money is available for Tranent in effect to buy success so based on that and winning the south league must have a great chance to be successful unlike bathgate who you obviously don't rate! Re Thomson you say you've "heard " about it.?! So is the source you're hearing from genuine or just talking nonsense, as other than that claim which remains unconfirmed, you actually talk nonsense and don't seem to know much about any of the teams in the east premier. Willynilly
Hee haw that should read! Time to stop drinking! Money or not don't think Tranent will go up 2 years in a row, maybe top 4. Sauchie and bathgate my tips for top 2! Any takers??

pie n beans
Arniston had a fantastic run in the last half of the season, Haddington did well, Tranent won't be far away if true about loads of cash maybe a top 4 for Bathgate and Sauchie also
Belter1
Nobody's mentioned Whitburn here either. Not sure who they have signed but they will be in the mix aswell
JOS
A mid table finish would be the aim for Tranent this year. Anything higher would be great. Expectation need to be manager regardless of who we sign. This will be a very difficult league to get out for any club, never mind a club that's just been promoted. jimmyg
Could be a right tight league this season. Hard one to call with the 3 clubs coming down. I am not sure if they will go straight back up. Bathgate, Arniston, Haddington strong last season. A few teams making good signings and promoted teams, there's always a surprise charge from at least one of them. Early predictions are Bathgate, Tranent & maybe a fife team 😜 not sure what one
