I'm sure they said it on ITV last night and have done previously. Indeed from UEFA's webpage it looks like this is the case http://www.uefa.com/uefaeuro/news/newsid=2385046.html So if this is the case how come the likes of Hummels and Ramsay are banned from the semi-finals because of yellow cards? Bully Wee Villa Posted July 4, 2016 Share Posted July 4, 2016 I think it means yellow cards don't carry over after the quarter-finals... so if you've got one yellow card now it gets wiped. If you picked up two bookings before QFs were over you still get banned though. It's to stop people picking up a booking in the semi and missing the final.
