I think you'll find that Morton's win in that proverbial 'six-pointer' at the bottom of the division played a crucial role in the outcome of that season. Here's a wee reminder of what happened at the end: http://spfl.co.uk/championship/fixture/3151846/ Ayr finishing bottom and being relegated by a two point margin: owing to the swording delivered to them by Sir David Irons. He doesn't even mention the only real chance in the first half from Quitongo [emoji23] . He's right that you were better in the first half but on the basis of that half its nothing to be proud of. vikingTON
No James should be allowed to apply for the manager's post at Morton again. Duffy, Grady and McInally in the last decade have seen to that.

No_Problemo
Personally thought both sides were equally rotten first half.

We were both pretty bad but you were able to carve out some opportunities from it. We were moving guys about all the time to make up for McCall messing up his starting lineup. Yip she's definitely trying to convince us the game was more than 3 points in value. My my quite something!
Buckfast
I would have been disappointed if we hadn't beaten a small club like Morton, it's against the big teams like Hibs we need to try and get something.

I see, so taking 3 points from Ayr is worthy of a Prodigal Son type return to the Cappielow hotseat, regardless of the fact that the rest of his tenure was an absolute clusterfuck. Got it. Got it. You'd be clutching at straws as well if you'd watched your team getting horsed by the part-time skintos of the league. It'll get them used to it for next season.
