Most non-EU countries on earth have some kind of agreements with the EU. Because they are not in the EU.

The UK would be such a country.

What was voted for:

  • Member of the EU
  • Not a member of the EU

...?

So what was the Brexit we voted for? Apparently Norway is unacceptable but your examples are. You're backing me up with your point.

I've no idea what you are on about. Norway is not a member of the EU.  We have been told that a Norway style deal is not the Brexit we voted for. Yet they are not in the EU. And we voted not to be in the EU. How is that congruous?

The confusion over this still now is baffling. Seems fairly clear that it means the same EU status as any other nation who is not currently a member of the EU...? Canada, Brazil, and Fiji, for example. Not EU members. Same shit.

Unlike you - it's not that simple.

Switzerland - not member of EU - member of Single Market.

Norway - not member of EU - member of Single Market.

Iceland - - not member of EU - member of EEA.

Etc

Etc

Do I need to draw a diagram?

To be honest, as far as I've been able to gauge, it's generally not Leavers who don't know what voting Leave was for. It;s some Remainers who can't wrap their heads around it.

The referendum asked if we were leaving or remaining in the EU.

It did not ask if we were leaving or remaining in the Single Market or Customs Union.

But then you know that you trolling little c**t.

I think we are exactly where we should be when we've a political class clinging on to empirical born to rule good times catapulted into top level politics where they succeed in fooling a willfully stupid electorate but not foreign leaders (anymore).
Of course it's the Tories telling this story; it's delicious, if not tragic.

Guardian live feed suggesting that the number of letters required to force a leadership contest might already have been submitted but has not yet been made public as May will get 48 hours notice before any announcement.
