geo87
What kind of crowds have Cumbernauld been getting? This isn't a crowd w**k just interested to see how the new teams are getting on gaining supporters!
Urris67
Don't follow the team but the crowds in LL are anything from 50- 300
HibeeJibee
I've only seen 6 Cumbernauld Colts crowds reported in the press or groundhopping sites:2015-16 300 v Whitehill Welfare 250 v Glasgow University (Scottish Cup) 487 v Auchinleck Talbot (Scottish Cup)2016-17119 v Hamilton Academical 'B' (SPFL Challenge Cup) 81 v Hawick Royal Albert 187 v Forres Mechanics (Scottish Cup) AFAIA their average for a run-of-the-mill league game on a Saturday afternoon will be comfortably below the average of the above, several of which have been their biggest games.
edinabear
Are there any plans for cumbernauld colts to have their own ground? It can't surely be their long term plan to groundshare in an 8,000 seated stadium with Clyde?

I believe their the main tenants at Broadwood sure it was grants that they got which paid for the 3G pitch.
foreverarover
Correct Cowdenbeath. Colts with a grant got the new pitch laid. Cumbernauld Colts by all accounts get treated like shit from the council and really have no interest in the success of the club. The council are only interested in Clyde and Scotland women's rugby who play there also.

The way Clyde seem to have dicked the council about with talk about moving away you would think they would have got more behind the Colts.

lowenan
Tried to find a thread for each team. Couldn’t find a recent one for three of the teams. Thought it was a nice initiative, sorry if people think otherwise.

Some of the reasons might have sparked more engagement in the Transfer thread recently started or creating a predictions thread.
lowenan
Perhaps if there is no recent thread for a team, it will be more difficult to attract further of their fans there. But I do see your point,. Glad we have an active forum as it is.

I think it's good to give club threads another life, might get some more supporters involved, Cowdenbeath seem to have most of the regular posters on the sub forum.
