People hating on it ain't going to change it. They've been around for over a decade. The lease they signed with Dumbarton was for 5 years. There's an idea now that Dumbarton's going to get an artificial surface in sooner than later which makes that more sustainable as an idea. Thing is Broomhill is a breakaway from the parent club, who still exist as a football club. So the question is a bit abstract. Could one version disappear? Here's a scenario; they drop to the WOS, Sons don't renew lease, can only get a ground outwith west catchment area, kicked out of WOSFL for breaching criteria rules. Hopefully nae silly funt takes them on. I will be making sure the SOSFL know whom they would be letting into our quiet little hamlet. Can't agree; despite being a bit nomadic Locos now have a base, Athletic have played in the town of their name since their re-birth.
