  1. Always impressed how quickly Linlithgow get highlights package up, good quality too
  2. October 2007 v another EOS side but at home in the Scottish cup. Albion Rovers 8-0 Burntisland Shipyard. Alan Reid, Rovers captain, played that game for us too As I said the ground was far better than some in our league which are horrible and soulless and ran by numbskulls, but I won't mention names *cough* Caledonian Braves *cough*
  3. Enjoyed the set up at Fauldhouse, far better than some of the dross in our league, 8-0 didn't flatter Rovers it could have been double figures very easily, couple good stops by the keeper, 4 divisions of a difference showed but all the best to Fauldhouse going forward, would love to play them again in the near future
  4. I'm not in anyway slagging EK, Tongue in cheek maybe, but at the same time asking a serious question
  5. Rovers offered Sean Fagen really good money EK offered him more than double, I'm jealous we don't have the ability to do that and don't hold it against the players, none of them have come out and said oglh it's not about the money so fair play to them go and grav it while you can
  6. Generally the rovers games are spoken about on the Albion Rovers messageboard, hence the reason there aren't alot of Rovers fans or topics on P and B, especially when the other team has the square root of 0 fans to interact with, So on here talking about other goings on in the league
  7. The rumour I heard was they were trying to get rid of some players but the players were either refusing to move as they were getting paid a fortune or EK were asking for too much money, How true that is I don't know
  8. So another loss, and no doubt another interview from big MK about how EK dominated and stuck to his philosophy and were the far better team, but let's look at facts the last 11 games for EK in all competitions, 3 wins 3 draws 5 losses At what point does he realise his way of playing football doesn't seem to be working and abandon it At what point do the EK BOD, owners, and backers realise Micks way of football isn't working and abandon him. Spending a fortune, biggest budget in the league, biggest squad in the league, without a doubt the best squad in the league, but seem to constantly choke at big games When is the breaking point
  9. Yeah I always remember he started 99 consecutive games and didn't want another contract after he became disillusioned, that lasted a week before he joined annan. He was a cracking golfer too, played at Easter Moffat,
  10. He now plays in the same team as ex rover and Annan defender Mikey McGowan
  11. Scored quite a few for under 23's, He was at cliftonhill watching the pre season friendly v queens park
  12. I disagree, the club disagree .......... The club need to play the game, so I will goto the game and support my team ....
  13. Because I will watch my team, I 100% disagree with the B teams in the competition and understand the fans who don't go, most rovers fans didn't, but want to watch my team as often as I can. Rovers vote against B teams playing senior teams at every opportunity, they are vocal about it.
  14. Was surprised at a couple hundred there between Hibs B and Albion Rovers last night. Decent game which both teams went for. Albion rovers player Michael Paton missed a pen in the 88th min, then he scored the equaliser in the 92nd, then stepped up to score the winning penalty in the shootout
  15. Celtic B finished 6th in the lowland league last season, 10 points behind 2nd place Hearts B, and 22 points behind champions East Kilbride EK won the 2 x fixtures 2-0 and 2-1 last season Celtic B have only beat EK once in the 7 games they have played each other.
