Not sure how the situation developed on Saturday, but surprised Gourock Ath never thought to speak or seek out the secretary of St.Pat's as he is also the secretary of the west cup [ if he was in attendance ]

But if the Di0mind version is correct its very honourable of Gourock Ath to own up that very evening. Not a sign of a cheating club in my view

As for other posts talking about St.pat's they were the biggest club in Amateur Football about 15/20 years ago ..................then made one big mistake ...........................

what was the mistake they made?

St Patrick's have done wrong in the past and of recent however I guess it's who you know at that top level of the ammy game .Big blow to Gourock being eliminated from the west cup today meaning the boys from my side of the water can look forward to the draw .

Tough games for all involved, have any of the 3 teams played each other, apart from the 4-1 game last week?

Does it say anything about the standard of the depth in central that none of the 3 clubs at top of this division, and you can add steins in too, aren't playing in Scottish at this stage?

  • 3 weeks later...

Seems a bit Boring with all this colville stuff (who we all know pay players)

anyway the title race in Div 1 is heating up with Bridgwater winning again on sat and only a couple of points between them Stirling and Gourock .Gourock play steins this sat in what could be the game of the day in amateur tootball and Bridgwater face a weak uddingston side .Not sure why Stirling aren't playing but this league looks like going to has more bottle
