Punishment for fielding an unsigned player

Semi final, The team in question wins but has fielded an ineligible player (under different names) maybe even two unsigned players. After the game we do the proper procedures and the referee also knows the person in question and knows it was not him who was playing and has put it in his report to the league secretary. What if any should be the punishment? Thanks

Quoting from section 14, article 2 of the SFA rule book. I would encourage the OP to refer to his own before starting unnecessary threads in future.

Any club found to have fielded a player who is deemed ineligible due to improper registration, suspension or for any of the reasons outlined in section 14, article 1 will be required to play their next match in compliance with the following restriction;

1. All outfield players will be required to complete the match without wearing footwear of any sort.

In addition to this, the offending club will be subject to the following restriction for the remainder of the calendar year in which the offence was committed, or the end of league season, whichever comes first;

1. All players, including those on the bench will compete for the rest of the calendar year stripped to the waist.

No replay of the original match/tie will take place and the result recorded by the match referee will stand.

Hope this clears it up.

EK Whitehills done this in the Caledonian League and were papped out. Their manager, who's mate it was that played using a false name, denied knowledge and let another mate who helped run the team take the blame and a ban.

The manager just moved across to another EK team in a different league. Snide from the manager but that's just him.

Player eligibility is not a refereeing issue.

How could the Manager get away with it if he WAS the Manager. That seems weird?
