quickoverayard
How recently ? Just there last 2 results have been 0-3 at home to a Tayport team forced to field it's manager and assistant, and a 0-2 reverse at home to otherwise pointless Dalkeith !! Saying that the best team I have seen this season in Premier was Dunbar for 70 minutes of one game. Not seen Mussy and will see Fauldhouse today. First game and all through pre season. Not an ideal start and I know a few players who play for them who are out injured but confident in them finishing in top
Football expert
I Watched Thornton hibs really start to settle into life in the premier league this afternoon, ripping a Kirrie thistle side to shreds and on another day it may have been 6/7. Much like the last time the teams met there was only one team trying to play with the ball on the carpet and that was the visitors who were always depleted on the day missing 5 players. Kirrie seemed to want to go back to front a lot which was strange as their park was in a great condition and really deserved better. Thornton seem to be playing a lot of their best football on the road and are a good team to watch. Tricky few fixtures coming up but won't fear anyone. [emoji106]???? Ref got our bookings spot on too also tayport player should have been sent off for a slap on our player. But ref explained every decision is all we can ask for. Burnie_man
Dalkeith Thistle 1 Blackburn Utd 2 Blackburn started well and a trialist rattled the bar for Burnie before we went ahead after the Dalkeith keeper spilled a shot and Michael Browne tapped home. It was a fairly even game for the rest of the half. Second half Tansey equalised with a good strike but they were then reduced to 10 men for a second booking. Craig Young converted a penalty to edge Blackburn ahead again before Rarity was shown a second yellow. Campbell then rattled the underside of the bar with the ball bouncing on the line and out to almost make it 3. Someone on the Dalkeith bench then saw red presumably for dissent, and they ended up with 9 men when another player saw a second yellow near the end. First away win and a good 3 points. Attendance only around the 60 mark with almost half of that from Blackburn.
