Boostin' Kev
There still hasn't been many good bands altogether though. I don't think I could pick more than five that I'd like to listen to.

Not great ones.
bob the tank
The first "Blue"album was superb and two great singles - "Red Light song" and "Little Jody"; they did have a second album "Life in the Navy" released in 1974 and opened that tour at the Caledonian Hotel in Inverness, one off the first gigs I attended. I forgot all about that second album, as I bought all my music on "musicassettes" at the time, not everything was available in "all formats"
Barry Ferguson's Hat
We're too wee, too poor and too stupid to make good music.

Boostin' Kev
It's not for many people imo. Who do we have, Teenage Fanclub, Primal Scream and J&MC?

Honest_Man#1
Been listening to Wrest recently as they had “if you like frightened rabbit you’ll love wrest” in their tag line. They’re no frabbit but Human is a good tune.

Idlewild did a similar thing but much better than either.

Miguel Sanchez
Had a listen to wrest. Aside from being fundamentally opposed to them due to their refusal to capitalise their name, they sound like one of those "I forced an AI to listen to Scottish bands from 2013-2017 for three months and this is what it did" memes.

Oscar Wilder
Declan Welsh and the Decadent West are one of the best Scottish bands at the moment imo!

Ronaldo Jeremy
Here's the band I'm in. We're all Scottish (apart from the Aussie and the Polish guy). Shameless plug for our album which is available everywhere now.
Jimi Shandrix
Midge Ure singing "Cold Cold Heart" on tonight's repeat of Top Of The Pops. Fucking dreadful. "Vienna" it is not.
