lonewolfie
Tomorrows Scottish Junior Cup tie between Kilwinning and Saltcoats will not go ahead due to Saltcoats being unable to field a team. Does this mean Vics will be disqualified? Or do they get a stay of execution?
Rochstar1920
It would depend on the circumstances I think i.e. team sickness which sjfa would need to see medical evidence.
Rochstar1920
From the sjfa cuo competition rules.Any club refusing or failing to play the club against which it isdrawn within the time intimated to it, and without sufficient reasonfor doing so, shall be adjudged to have lost the match
Urris67
Saltcoats are certainly not alone in being unable to field a team this weekend! Indeed, it would appear that this has also occurred in the amateur divisions. Very interested to see the outcome!!!
Wicked Delivery
Is this due to the Old Firm? Or ''illness''? Any player missing their own match to go watch a senior team shouldn't be playing junior football.
fan of the juniors
It is the September weekend so that might be a valid excuse . As others have said will be interesting to see what comes from this
Hands_Free
Hopefully Vic's can sort this out. Surely a few younger guys down that way would fancy a crack at Junior. I'd rather guys who want to play, played rather than guys missing football because of a game in Glasgow. It's not a game of 5's with their mates they are playing. Hopefully there is a good reason, but if it's Old Firm related it's poor. Buffs defo to go through for me.
glensmad
You can't just call in guys to make up the team for Scottish Junior Cup ties. It's signed and registered players only.

Does my stereotypical view of you westies all heading down to the flea ridden chalets at Butlins Ayr, still hold ? Guid game of snooker and a shotty on the dodgems ?
