HibeeJibee
Not to be confused with the UEFA Nations League but a shameless rip-off of the idea, this is also to start next autumn:http://www.concacaf.com/article/concacaf-league-of-nations-confirmedhttp://www.concacaf.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/11/CONCACAF-LEAGUE-OF-NATIONS-FAQ-ENG.pdf Interestingly it implies an end to using the FIFA World Rankings to decide seeding for WC qualifiers. It will consist of 3 divisions, similar to Europe's 4 divisions.... It will have promotion-and-relegation, like Europe... There will be a Finals Tournament, like Europe... There will be a qualifying route to the Gold Cup, like that to the Euros. However there are some differences: suggestion in FAQs is it'll provide up to 10-14 more competitive games over 2 years which might imply groups of 6 instead of 4, and longer playoff formats. Unlike in Europe where UEFA coefficients will decide starting divisions there will be a Preliminary Series of the CONCACAF League of Nations held for 4 dates starting next September (i.e. September to October?). Gold Cup expanding 12 > 16 from 2019.
Latino Lover
Can’t be too many miss out if gold cup goes to 16 and has traditionally had guests. Only tiny island states and non Fifa type places surely? Not to say they haven’t done well in the past.
HibeeJibee
CONCACAF = 41 members. No invitees since 2005. Currently:* USA, Mexico, Canada qualify automatically = 3 * top 4 from Central American Cup (7 members) qualify = 4 * Semi-Finalists of Caribbean Cup (31 members) qualify = 4 * 5th places Play-off = 1 e.g. 2017 ... Belize and Guatemala didn't qualify from Central America; Haiti (from Caribbean) lost Play-off; Suriname and Trinidad & Tobago eliminated in last stage of Caribbean Playoff Qualifier 2015 ... Belize and Nicaragua didn't qualify from Central America; French Guiana (from Caribbean) lost Playoff; Antigua & Barbuda, Curacao and Martinique ranked worse in Caribbean Cup

Herman Hessian
inexplicably missing from that list: St Kitts & Nevis Dean Walling (Carlisle United and Doncaster Rovers - amongst others) now - that guy was a 'baller and no fucking mistake also, main focus of attention in the Dean Walling Blowjob Posse, after an (alleged) evening of japery and stress-relieving activities in the flat of team-mate Scott Maxfield, a couple of other players and three young ladies who were "known" to many within Rovers' sphere of endeavour during their years in the Conference...

As it happens the Preliminary Series of the CONCACAF League of Nations has been expanded to run the whole of next season (starting with the September international window and finishing in March 2019). Preliminary Series comprises 1 gigantic league of 34 nations who have been drawn into 4 matches each. senorsoupe
Bit of a frantic start to our game against Saint Kitts and Nevis, John Herdman following Alex McLeish's lead by playing a winger (Alfonso Davies this time) as a full back
senorsoupe
The commentator on the official CONCACAF stream is pretty dreadful, he referred to FC Copenahgen as a Swedish team and Besiktas as an all time European great in the same sentence

senorsoupe
FT 1-0 Canada. Some good performances, should have scored a couple more but still a good result for us. Looks as though we are pretty much guaranteed a spot in the A division

senorsoupe
Watching Canada against French Guyana, we just conceded a ridiculous goal from a ridiculous mix up at the back. I really am a masochist for cheering on Canada and Scotland at International level. Milan Borjan is a Champions League goalie that beat Liverpool, looking like Scott Fox last year for Ross County Edited March 24, 2019 by senorsoupe

Marten
Curacao are doing well these days. They're much stronger than they were not too long ago. Most of their players are now full-time professionals playing in The Netherlands.

Technically, France only borders the Kingdom of the Netherlands, not the actual country The Netherlands as that's only a constituent country of the kingdom, like St. Maarten is as well (the other 2 are Aruba and Curacao).

Torpar
I'd like to see Saint Pierre and Miquelon enter a team, then Canada might have a chance at beating one of their neighbours
