I know he’s not exactly flavour of the month at Fir Park at the minute but if you’ve only got 2 fit senior strikers at the club, it seems mental not to have them both in the squad. Especially when you’re taking off Bowman and then relying on young guys like Newell(or Petravicius) to try fulfill a role that with the best will in the world, neither of them are ready for. Injured was he not?

Maybe he was though, it’s hard to tell to be honest given the erratic nature of his appearances. The guy wasn’t even in the squad for the 2 league games against Celtic then suddenly was in the starting line up at Tynecastle. Obviously missed the game at Firhill though concussion but was back in the starting line up at Rugby Park last Saturday, then yesterday he was back to not being in the squad. Either way it’s a grim state of affairs when you need a goal and the only striking options off the bench to replace Bowman are a couple of young laddies who look out their depth at this level. Not their fault of course, just due to circumstance they’re being asked to do something that at this moment in time looks beyond them. As others have said, if we hadn’t got the penalty yesterday we could still be playing now and not have scored.

Chateau Lafite
The Well lads like long posts clearly. Can anyone précis? So they do Fifespud. Have to say it's a welcome change from gratuitous inane abuse afforded to the opposition. So Happy Christmas to the Motherwell cuntos.

In summary: Dundee should probably be disappointed that they didn't win but we've played better and lost not to mention we finished the game with 10 men and played the bulk of the 2nd half with various injured players so we'll take the point thanks As above, Robinson fucked it a bit by trying to rush too many back from injury and it bit us on the arse. We're toothless up front without Moult (which we already knew) Bowman's fine but probably not the answer to replacing Moult. Tanner's beginning to show why we signed him and chipping in with goals but having him as a #10 doesn't really complement Bowman. A partially fit Trevor Carson is worth more points to us than a fully fit Russell Griffiths. We're really just limping our way to the winter break at the moment. Merry Christmas Dees. DeeTillEhDeh
Frustrating to lose a penalty like that - looked like the wind caused O'Hara problems and he didn't see Kipre nipping in. Definite penalty even though Kipre made a meal of it.
well fan for life
Seemed a bit daft from O’Hara to wait on the ball dropping like that. Carson & Hartley made a colossal difference to us. The defensive organisation was much better than the last couple of weeks. Cadden & Frear should have been nowhere near that team, neither looked fit from the minute they stepped onto the park. It’s not even like we don’t have options in their positions either. Petravicius, Maclean and Campbell could all have played and given them time to rest.I would take some 0-0 shitfests to get us through to January right now.
