Jimboyjones1976
Been reading today that the news announcement from King is that he is to issue a share option for fans. He has also promised Gerrard £6M for a transfer kitty. Is this enough to bridge the gap, a small one if Rangers fans are to be believed.
kiddy
Should have titled the thread "Will Gerrard actually take up his post?".

MEADOWXI
Had a thoroughly entertaining chat in pub last night. The jist of it was this is it, they are back and will be stronger than ever. Gerrard has backing from amongst others Michael Owen (Liverpool and likes a gamble) and David Beckham (wants a football presence in Scotland). They are providing the finance backing for Gerrard to be a success and 'make them money' so he is ready to return to Liverpool in 5 years. They will make money as to be profitable they only have to get to the group stage of the Champions League every year to start getting 'returns on their investments. It seemed impolite to just laugh in his face but I had no other choice as I realised he was 100% serious. It was like to speaking to Dave King if King had been wearing an idiot-suit

Gaz FFC
I assume if the conversation in the headline took place it was £6M in wages and not actual transfer fees.
