Deanburn Dave
Crossgates again on Saturday.....3 weeks in a row v the same opposition due to cup ties. Complacency the biggest danger. If the BU players do their jobs we will win. Mon the BU's !!!
Deanburn Dave
Cloudy day for the fans but good Fitbaw weather for the players. No more than a light breeze should mean the BU's can play some silky stuff and run the Primrose ragged.
Jambo'ness
No wedding dos planned for today I hope and we'll have nearly a full squad to pick from. Complacency is a danger, remember we've only won by a goal each time and you can certainly say the first was a draw in 90 mins. Our backs to use their heads to great use from good deliveries from Morgan (or whoever).

Bo'nus Ball
Striker required. Urgently
Deanburn Dave
Jings we made tough work of that. Crossgates down to 8 men but should have been 7 or less IMO. Playing the same team 3 weeks in a row is bound to lead to niggles and feuds across the park.
Deanburn Dave
Hunter MOTM today. Gemmell and Snowdon deserve credit for staying on the park despite all the efforts by their opponents to get them riled.

We have the players to do the leading up work but the only players putting the ball in the net are our centre-backs. We have to look for a natural goal-scorer. For instance, the lad that scored for them yesterday, when down to 8 men. He never stopped and got his reward being in the right place at the right time. There are others out there but we have to do some business soon, not just sit on our hands. Back to yesterday. There were some ugly challenges, with Gemmell bearing the brunt of them. The first sending off was being contested by their bench, then Michael lifted his shirt to show the stud marks on his chest! Let us just hope the other cups don't pair us together at any stage. Deanburn Dave
Yesterday was the perfect example of why we need a fox in the box. MacKenzie and others put in a great shift and set up the chances but too often there was nobody in the middle to finish off the moves. Spilled balls by their keeper would have been pounced on by a decent striker and an emphatic victory would have followed but instead the scoreline suggests that we limped over the line v 8 men. Bo'nus Ball
Seeing we are on Pie and Bovril. Sampled the delights at the game yesterday. Has to one of the worst I've had. Farm foods specials. Box of 50 for a pound..

Probably very unlikely to happen, but I’d gladly take the lad that scored for them and their big ginger centre half if they were interested in joining the BU.
