You're right. They should have seen these last two performances and known we're nowhere near where we should be. The problem with the current regime, though, is that we don't heed these types of warning signs, or get reaction performances any more. There have been warning signs about us being short all summer. We've known we had no RB for the first game of the season all summer. We've known that we've needed an Abdul Osman-type bully in the middle since... well, Osman decided he couldn't be bothered being a footballer. This was probably in about November last year. We don't heed warning signs. We don't learn. We'll probably stumble into the Falkirk game on Saturday knowing that Elliott and McCarthy are back from suspension and that'll be us fine again. You could probably have done with us being more clinical in the last 2 games, it's usually hard for boards to ignore a few good old fashioned skelpings. the_paulo
a few marginal decisions and no Thistle fans complaining about them sort of sums up where we're at right now. Even if they all went our way, we'd have missed the penalty and conceded some other wonderfully farcical goals to make up for it. Difficult to accurately judge Ayr against a shower like us, but they are definitely working hard for each other and entertaining. Ah, the memories.
